Opening an Art Gallery

One of the greatest joys is seeing great plans come to fruition. Karin Adcock of Winmark Wines, who I have been working with for a few years, has always been an avid art collector. The Winmark Art Gallery was opened by Danish Ambassador Pernille Dahler Kardel in February, and was so well received.

Despite the pouring rain, more than 250 guests attended the opening in three groups to meet Covid restrictions, throughout the day. Some truly amazing pieces, and meeting the artists was so inspiring, from Rebecca Pierce, Felicia Aroney, David Ball and Simon Zablatesky and a very moving Welcome to Country by Aboriginal Elder Gavi.
