Abby Crawford was nominated for the 2019 Citizen of the Year Maitland Australia Day award.

- Judge of Hunter New England Health Excellence Awards 2013 - 2018

- Judge of Hunter New England Innovations Scholarships 2017 - 2018

- Committee member of Hunter New England Patient Partnerships Committee

Abby has also worked as an Event Partner to Variety of Chef Balls in Sydney and Newcastle since 2012. She is one of the founding committee members of the Maitland Loves Your Sister Cancer Fundraiser

She has worked with Red Kite Fundraising Ball, McGrath Foundation, Westpac Helicopter and has been a patrolling member of Surf Lifesaving for many years.
